Hi! My name is Kate and I am the head coach at Kent K9 training.

I'm a reinforcement based, concept trainer using an innovative, games-based training approach that not only increases your ability to get the behaviour you want from your dog, but it’s one that both you and your dog will really enjoy too!

​

Dogs learn through play, so incorporating this in to their training regime really accelerates their learning​, builds an amazing bond between you and your dog and most of all it’s FUN!

I am proud to be a full member of the IMDT (Institute for Modern Dog Trainers) and love the training ethos they stand for. Over the years I have taken many courses from separation anxiety to canine body language to dog aggression to canine enrichment and more.

There is always new information to learn about dog behaviour, so keeping myself up to date with the latest ethical dog training is essential. I am definitely a self-confessed dog training geek!

My two springer spaniels, Buddy & Skye, help me test out all the training techniques, which we tweak until they give their paws of approval. They love playing all the training games!
